My husband and I had a total renovation done in our recently purchased apartment. We hired Vinny at Modern Millwork to be our general contractor because he came highly recommended by my daughter, her friend, and my real estate broker. They each used him for various renovations including a small bathroom, an eat-in kitchen, and a total apartment renovation. From day one, he was attentive to our needs. He worked hand in hand with my designer to bring our vision to life and when we hit a wall, he was able to meet the challenge and find a solution. One of our biggest challenges was to move the stacking washer/dryer from the kitchen into the entryway. Originally, our plan was to use the existing pantry in the entryway to house the machines but when the closet proved to be too small to accommodate a full sized washer and dryer, he designed an additional space right next to the pantry and fitted it with double doors. It worked seamlessly with the space and now looks like it was always part of the original floor-plan. He used quality materials in every aspect of the job from plumbing to electrical to carpentry. He answered all our questions and concerns in a timely manner and was always honest, polite and respectful to me, my husband and anyone else involved in the project.
